utilisation of new technologies to deliver e-learning, blogs and podcasting.

After 16 years in engineering roles, Abby was involved in the development and delivery of training for the gas and electricity industry. In 2000 she left to study for a degree in Internet Computing and subsequently was employed by Virtual College, a pioneering e-learning company in West Yorkshire.

She has since been responsible for many major projects involved in helping small or micro-businesses to adopt e-learning.

Recently she has been involved in researching the latest technologies and looking into new and innovative ways of delivering and capturing e-learning.

Abby now runs the Safeguading children e-Academy which helps its members use e-learning as a flexible and complimentary delivery route to train people working with children and vulnerable adults.
