After 16 years in engineering roles, Abby was involved in the development and delivery of training for the gas and electricity industry. In 2000 she left to study for a degree in Internet Computing and subsequently was employed by Virtual College, a pioneering e-learning company in West Yorkshire. She has since been responsible for many major projects involved in helping small or micro-businesses to adopt e-learning. Recently she has been involved in researching the latest technologies and looking into new and innovative ways of delivering and capturing e-learning. Abby now runs the Safeguading children e-Academy which helps its members use e-learning as a flexible and complimentary delivery route to train people working with children and vulnerable adults. |
