About Internet Safety Day
Internet Safety Day was started 10 years ago by InSafe as a pan-European network of organisations dedicated to promoting safe use of the internet and mobile phones to young people.
The UK arm of the organisation, UK safer internet centre, is partnership of Childnet International, the South West Grid for Learning and the Internet Watch Foundation. It is co-funded by the European Commission and has three main functions: An Awareness Centre, a Helpline and a Hotline.
