Created in association with Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk

The connected baby series of online courses has been created in partnership with Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk, an internationally recognised specialist in parent-infant interaction.

The online courses have been produced to help all professionals caring for babies and young children in understanding the attachment process, which plays a crucial role in a child’s development and their future impact on society.

E-learning helps this important physiological process to be identified in real-life settings, so that attachment theory can be utilised by anyone who is directly caring for a child.

99% of professionals who have completed the first course in this series would recommend the course to a colleague.

The connected baby suite is comprised of the three online courses below:

  • Motorways in the brain – the processes of neural development: Understanding what neuroscience is revealing about brain development and how it is affected by relationships. Click to find out more.
  • Sabre tooth tigers and teddy bears – understanding attachment: Gaining knowledge about how the attachment process works and how it influences human behaviour and emotional needs. Click to find out more.
  • Connection in action – seeing relationships in everyday settings: Recognising the behavioural signals that help you be more alert to the emotions a child is experiencing. Click to find out more.

The online courses have been developed in close association with Dr. Suzanne Zeedyk to ensure that all information supplied is accurate and up to date with the latest academic theories.

“I would love for everyone coming into the education and care sector to know of this course. I think it would be nothing but a positive asset to staff skills.”
